Alright, so first off I was so excited to try these products because I have never owned an E.L.F. product before! So lets just say as soon as I saw it was only $4.99 I grabbed one! The first thing I really liked was the packaging. I love the pale turquoise and white together with the elegant flower print design. The packaging looks so classy and well put together. I could hardly wait to get home and try out the eye shadows.
The collection comes with 4 eye shadow duos
and one brightening eyeliner with an eyeshadow brush on one end.
As soon as I opened the box, and took out each eyeshadow duo I noticed right away that the packaging was pretty cheaply made. The duos felt flimsy and cheap, but I was still excited so I moved on and looked each color over and was pleased with what I saw.

The colors looked beautiful through their little cases so I was eager to swatch them and see how they felt. I was pretty disappointed when I began my swatches, first off the shadows felt very weird, they had this almost chalky consistency and the more I tried to swatch the more they clumped together, it was odd.
As you can see the colors looked vibrant and beautiful with a bit of sparkle and lots of shine. It took me like 3 or 4 swatches to get the colors this pigmented so to say the lease I was quite disappointed.

The collection came with a really nice eyeliner that had a eyeshadow brush on one end. The eye liner was very pigminted and worked very well on my eyes, however, I would not suggest it for the water line. It was hardly visible and as soon as I blinked the color on my water line was gone.
In conclusion I would have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the E.L.F. eyeshadow duos and most likely will not be repurchasing them. I do still want to try to the other products and know that for the price I paid, I cannot expect too much. E.L.F. is not M.A.C. but its still somewhat good product. This was my first experience so I will not completely give up on the product.
