Valentines Vacation ( A Little Late I know! )

Hey girls,

So I know this is incredibly late but its taken me awhile to get the footage together and edit, blah blah. BUTTT Jed and I had an amazing Valentines trip to the Wisconsin Dells. We stayed two nights at The Kalahari and had such an amazing time. I love that he and I like doing the same kinds of things together and that we both love to travel and check out new places. We decided to stay at the Kalahari because its one of our faavorite resorts ever and we love the waterpark! We booked a normal room big enough for us, and we ended up getting upgraded to a HUGE two bedroom, three room suite. It was such a nice surprise! I felt like we could've invited our other couple friends, but it was nice enjoying the luxuries together.

"our room"

the extra room with two beds & a fireplace :) oohh lala

After check out our room and unpacking we decided to head down to the waterpark. I just LOVE the waterpark there. Not only is there a bunch of fun stuff to do but during our vacation we pretty much had the place to ourselves, which was so nice! I loved not having to wait in any lines, and we were able to ride the slides over and over which was a lot of fun. If you've ever been to the Kalahari (either in the Dells or in Sandusky Ohio) then you know how exciting it is. After a few hours the park closed and we headed back to our room to get ready for a late dinner. We decided to eat at the Great Karoo. It was late but we'd been driving for a few hours, and spent time in the waterpark so we knew we needed to eat something before going to sleep so we settled on the Spinach & Artichoke appetizer. It was really tasty and not incredibly filling which was perfect :)

The Next Day: We woke up early and ordered room service, a Denver omelet for Jed and a veggie one for me (this was before I became vegan.) They were very yummy and pretty filling. I couldn't finish mine, it was too much food, but it def gave us the energy we needed for the day :)

:)

After breakfast we spent the entire day in the waterpark. We had so much fun riding different rides together and swimming around. I can't explain how amazing Jed is and how lucky I am to have him in my life. Not only is he my boyfriend and the love of my life but he's my absolute best friend and we have so much fun together, I love it. We both could seriously spend days and days at this resort, there is so much to do and see and the rides never get old.

I'm usually a pretty daring person, I love roller coasters and water rides, but there are a few that I just can't get myself to go on, Jed, however, is a total dare devil and he'll ride pretty much anything! He tried getting me to go on this one set of slides where the floor drops out from under you but I wasn't having it. After convincing him to just ride it and then tell me if he thought I'd like it, he did and as soon as he got off he said "you would not like that at all." hahah. After spending the day in the water we got ready and went to dinner. We decided to try Damons and it was pretty good. We ordered a few drinks as well ans our meals which were very tasty :)

After drinks, and some time in the hottub, we called it a night and cuddled up in our super comfy king size bed...it was so coze we slept veryyy well. After another day in the waterpark we headed home. It was such a relaxing few days that we both needed very badly! Sometimes we get caught up in our everyday lives on work work work and forget that we need to relax and enjoy what we work for. It felt great to spend a couple days just having fun with eachother :)

Here are some pictures :)

I hope you enjoyed & if your ever in the Wisconsin Dells area, I'd highly recommend checking out the Kalahari Resort :)

xoxo
