Hey girls!! :)
I've lived away from home for many years now, minus the year we spent back in Wisconsin..but for the most part I've lived in a different state much farther away from my mom, little sister, and most of my friends. It has been hard but I love to travel the world, experience new places, new cities, new surroundings. I thrive off of being able to pack up and go whenever I want..and I've always done that. Thank God I'm dating an amazing man who feels the same way and is full of adventure and spontaneity like I am :) Together we've lived in Wisconsin, Colorado, and California throughout our almost 3 year relationship. Ever since I was a little girl living in Wisconsin and spending the summers at my dads in California I've known I wanted to live in Southern California..as soon as I could I packed up my bags and headed for the Sunshine State ;)
As hard as it can be to live far from family and friends, I've always had a few people with me, either my boyfriend, Jed, my dad, or other family on my dads side..I can't imagine spending all of my life living in the same city in the same state!! That freaks me out so much. I have many friends back in Wi who will probably never leave. Their family live there, they've been raised their, etc. etc. . . I am much different. My dads side lives in Arizona and California and my great grandma is still in Wi, my moms side is mostly in Wisconsin..me..I like to consider myself a traveler. I spent 18 years and most summers between Wi & California, then I moved to Colorado for over a year and worked at an amazing resort called Keystone Resort (one of the best years of my life !!) I've also lived in California, many different areas & loved it all.
I think that life is way to short to stay stuck in the same place. The world is HUGE and there are so many beautiful places to see and experience..I'd highly suggest packing up and moving, states away, across the country, across the world, whatever..Just move outside of your hometown bubble and experience things...thats my best advice :)
Remember, we only get one life, why not take full advantage of all that is around us..Enjoy.Experience..LIVE !! :)
I'll be writing more posts about my life, moving, where I've lived, etc..stay tuned :)
xoxo
V
