5 Months old, Wow !!
Look at mama's big boy !! Ahhh, I just cannot believe my sweet boy is 5 months old...These months have flown by before my eyes.
Height/Weight: We had Mase weighed at his 4 month appointment so I'm guessing he's still around 20lbs..not shore on how tall he is but we will find out next month :)
Routine: Mase has his routine down. He goes to bed between 8-8:30pm every night and wakes up between 6-7am. He takes a morning nap a couple of hours later, then another nap later in the afternoon. He eats and plays in between and is doing awesome :) It feels good to finally have a set routine down, much more relaxing for this mama !!
Sleeping: We are still trying to transition Mase into his crib but so far it's not working. He will nap in it throughout the day but for the most part he prefers cuddling up to his mama. My goal is still to have him in his bed by next month, but we will see. Right now, however, Mase sleeps great. He goes to bed between 8-8:30pm and usually wakes up a few hours later around 10 or 11 for another feeding. After that he's out until 6am when he starts cluster feeding/sleeping until he actually wakes for the day around 7, sometimes if I'm lucky he'll sleep in until 9 but that's pretty rare. I'm just proud my babe is sleeping through the night!!
Eating/Feeding: Mase is exclusively breastfed and has been for awhile now and it's going great. I think I was more nervous in the beginning that he wasn't getting enough from me which is why I supplemented a few times, but now I am much more confident and I know that he is doing perfect :) It's amazing how our bodies will produce exactly what our babies need and when they need it. I know wish I NEVER would have supplemented at all, but you live and learn and he is a strictly breastfed baby so that's all that matters to me :)
Sizes: Mase is wearing 9-12 month clothing :) Big healthy boy !!
Milestones: I feel like we have so many this month !! Mase rolls all over the room and scootches like crazy. He rolls from back to tummy and tummy to back like it's no big deal. He's also trying so hard to sit up but can't quit do it on his own yet. He's getting there though !! Mase's new thing is to fake cough, he finds it hilarious and does it constantly. We also found out this month that he absolutely HATES the car wash, poor babe got so scared !! We won't go back until he's much older, ha.
