Mason's One Month Update !!

Here is Mason at 1 month old :)

I can't believe he is already a month old !! It seems like he was just born yesterday. It really is crazy how time flies by, especially once you have a baby !!

Height/Weight: Mase weighs 14lbs and is 24 inches long :)

Routine: As of right now Mase is not on a routine at all really. I nurse him on demand and at this point he eats and sleeps whenever he wants. I find that he has his days and nights mixed up which is such a struggle for me at night. I'm pretty much exhausted, but I try my best to sleep when he does. Right now he usually sleeps most during the day and only an hour or two off and on at night. He nurses every couple of hours or more which I think tends to be comfort nursing, which I don't mind ;) He usually wakes up around 5am, nurses, sleeps a bit, nurses some more, etc etc. I try to catch a nap or two when he sleeps. Thankfully I have Dillon here to help which has been great !!

Sleeping: Mase usually sleeps the most during the day right now which is difficult. If he'd only switch it up and sleep 6 hours at night it would be such a help !! Haha. He naps a lot, a lot a lot, nurses sleeps, nurses, sleeps...He loves falling asleep on my chest. It's his favorite spot :)

Eating/Feeding: I nurse Mase on demand. Whenever he shows me hunger signs he is fed :) I'm proud to say that we are exclusively breastfeeding and he is getting better at it every day. I'm pumping a bit as well which is going great :) Mase is usually eating about 4oz of pumped breast milk or nursing for 10-20 minutes at a time.

Sizes: As of right now Mase is still fitting to a few Newborn onesies and newborn diapers. He can also fit into a few 3 month onesies :) He's such a big boy !!

Milestones: Mase smiles all of the time and is just a super happy baby. He smiles in his sleep, when he's awake, I love it. It melts my heart :) He also had his first real bath which he wasn't shore about at first but then he loved it. He also got to go out for dinner with mommy and daddy for the first time :)
