Here is my babe at 2 months old :)
I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I wish it would slow down a bit, but I couldn't be happier. Mase is perfect !! :)
Height/Weight: Mase weighed 17.25lbs and was 25 inches long at his 6 week appointment !! Such a big healthy strong boy :) He is in the 99th percentile for height and weight and developing perfectly. He is the best.
Routine: Mase has been sleeping through the nights now thank you God !! I went from having him sleep on my chest at night which freaked Dillon out, to sleeping right in bed with us. I always have him on my side since Dillon twitches and moves a lot, but Mase snuggles right up to me and sleeps 5-6 hours a night. I LOVE it. We won't have him in our bed forever, just a bit longer. I couldn't resist, especially with the sleep! Mommy needs it ;) As for our routine Mase has gotten much better with his days and nights. He usually takes three naps throughout the day, nurses on demand, and plays when he's awake. Things are going great !! He also loves car rides and tends to fall asleep as soon as we get him in the car seat ;)
Sleeping: Like I said, he is now sleeping 5-6 hours throughout the night and taking about 3 naps a day. He seems to have finally switched his day/night back to normal which is great for us :) His naps range anywhere from an hour or two to 5 or 6!! Which is nuts. I think he's going through a grow spurt !!
Eating/Feeding: Mase is nursing on demand as well as getting a bottle or two of formula here and there. I hated the idea of giving him formula but it's happened if I'm gone ( getting my hair done ) or if I've had a beer or two or a glass of wine, etc. I don't feel I need to justify it to anyone, he mainly gets breastmilk and it works for us :) As for nursing he will wake up in the morning and nurse for 20-30 minutes, then go back to sleep for a bit. Throughout the day he nurses anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, whatever he feels. He enjoys comfort nursing as well. He has become a pro breastfeeder and I love it !! I remember it was a bit hard in the beginning but things flow so naturally now, I couldn't be happier !! As for pumping, I tried pumping every 2 hours for awhile but I just got way to sore and felt it was taking over my life, so I really only pump now if I've had a drink or two and feel engorged which really doesn't happen that often. Other than that I just continue to nurse on demand and plan to for awhile yet :)
Sizes: Mase is wearing 3-6 month onesies and 3 month pants !! He is such a growing boy, I love it !! He's in size 1 diapers now too which is crazy. He's def not my itty bitty baby anymore...still a baby though ;) ha.
Milestones: Mase laughs all the time, especially in his sleep !! It's the cutest thing ever. I love when he really gets laughing and you can tell it's a deep from the belly giggle, adorable !! He's constantly smiling too which we love. Mase also rolled over twice !! I couldn't believe it, he's growing so much it's crazy !! So, sleeping through the night, rolling over, laughing....our babe is amazing :) He also got to celebrate his first Christmas and New Year's Eve, which he loved...didn't really understand what was going on, but had fun ha.
