Veronica : Mason's 7 Month Update !! :)

7 Months!! I feel like I just wrote Mason's 6 month update and here we are with another month gone..it's crazy how fast time goes by when you have a baby..I probably say that every month too, opps. I'm so happy and proud of my sweet babe, he is growing and learning more and more every day and I just feel like one blessed mama :)

Look at my big happy boy :) He just melts my heart day after day :) God is SO good !!

Height/Weight: Mase weighs 22lbs and is 29 1/2 inches long :)

Routine: Mase has the same routine as last month and this mama couldn't be happier!! :) He wakes between 6-7, nurses, then we get up, change his diaper and get him dressed for the day. Then we play for awhile and have some "breakfast." Mase usually has frozen banana or some watermelon. He nurses and takes his morning nap then when he wakes from that we change his diaper and play/read/go on a walk/etc. Mase takes an afternoon nap and when he wakes from that Daddy is home from work and they spend time together playing or reading. Mase sometimes take another shorter nap in the evening and then around 7:30 we start his bedtime routine, bath, hair brushing, story, some play, and then bed around 8-8:30pm :)

Sleeping: Mase has started sleeping in his crib !! I made the choice a few days ago and felt it was time to transition. Although, I love cuddling my babe and waking up next to him, Dillon and I need our alone time and Mase needs his own space :) We have a bedtime routine that I've started and so far it's going pretty good. Around 7:30 I give Mase a bath and put on his jammies, then Dillon brushes his hair, afterwards we read his favorite book "The Wheels On The Bus," and then I turn on Mason's sound machine and it plays "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Then I hop in the crib with Mase and nurse him to sleep, once he's asleep I hop back out like a ninja :P So far it works, and I'm taking that !! Mase still wakes 2-3 times a night and I go in and nurse him back to sleep. I'll continue this routine until I feel he's comfortable without me. For now, it works for us and I'm pleased with it :)

Eating/Feeding: Mase is still breastfeeding on demand and we started solids last month, which we're still doing this month :) So far Mase has had avocado, cucumber, sweet potato, banana, and watermelon. He LOVES food, the healthier the better :) We're doing a modified version of Baby Led Weaning and it's going great :)
