Mason's 8 Month Update

8 Months Old !! My big beautiful boy is growing up before my eyes and I couldn't be happier or more proud that God chose me to be his mama. Watching Mase learn and explore the world is so much fun. I swear this past month he has grown and changed so much. He's his own little person and we can't get enough of his personality, his giggles, his coos and smiles, ahhh. I love him so much !!

My sweet, sweet babe.

Height/Weight: Mase weighs 23lbs and is 29 1/2 inches tall !! Such a big healthy boy :)

Routine: Mase has a pretty good routine going. He sleeps really well these days and I'm assuming it's because he's so mobile. He's constantly on the move, crawling every where, climbing on every thing, standing! He's so big !! Anywho, he wakes up between 9-10am and I change him and get him dressed for the day. He has breakfast and plays awhile then around noon or 1 he nurses and takes a nap. His nap usually last between 2-3 hours. He wakes up, I change him and we play some more. He takes an afternoon nap and then we have dinner and go for a walk. He takes a bath and goes to sleep between 8-8:30 and is usually out for the night. He sometimes wakes around 11 to nurse quick and then head back to sleep.

Sleeping: Mase is an awesome sleeper !! He takes two naps a day and they usually last been 2-3 hours. He goes to bed around 8-8:30 and wakes up between 9-10. I LOVE that he sleeps in, makes mama super happy ;)

Eating/Feeding: Mase is still breastfeeding like a champ and we've been introducing solids for awhile now. We cut back a couple times when he had some issues with banana and avocado. We try to feed him what we eat for the most part, but he's still toothless so I get a little nervous. For breakfast I'll give Mase either: scrambled eggs, applesauce, oatmeal mixed with yogurt or applesauce, or just the good ol' mama's milk :) For lunches/dinners he'll have spaghetti made with quinoa pasta, meat sauce, or quinoa pasta with sweet potatoes, things like that. He's a good little eater and I can't wait until he has teeth so I can feel more comfortable giving him more variety !!

Sizes: Mase wears size 4 diapers, some 12 month clothes but mainly 18-24 months :) 

Milestones: Mase has reached SO many milestones this month !! He says "mama" "dada" "baba". He crawls and pulls himself up to stand in his play pen, and he's mastered the pincher grasp :)
